Prayer!
Subject: Our Nation
Someone has said if Christians really understood the full extent of the
power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless.
Did you know that during WWII there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a
group of people who dropped what they were doing every day at a prescribed
hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its
people and peace?
There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America.
If you would like to participate: Every evening at 9:00 PM Eastern Time;
8:00 PM Central; 7:00 PM Mountain; and/or 6:00 PM Pacific; stop whatever
you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United
States, our troops, our citizens, and for the return to a Godly nation.
If you know anyone else who would like to participate, please pass this
along.
Our prayers are some of the most powerful assets we have.

Fantastic!
Fantastic!
That is how I would describe my day today!
My son and his family came by this morning and we celebrated Mother's Day ... they gave me a lovely pink geranium and my 4-½ y/o granddaughter proudly said; I picked it out myself Grammy, just for you! And my son winked and his wife smiled.
Then it was off to do some fun stuff ~ like go outside in the yard and play ‘bubbles' ~ I have this fancy bubble machine that makes lots and lots of bubbles that blow in the breeze and the little ones chase and ‘catch' the bubbles (4 ½ and 2 ½ year-old kids have soooo much energy) and I just have to press the switch; we all giggle as they run and have a grand time!
Then I sat on the porch, with my son and daughter-in-law, to watch as the kiddies played kick ball and ran off some more energy. Then after a while they had to go to see the other ‘Grammy' and so we hugged and kissed and they went on their way.
And in the evening, my friend invited me over for dinner at his place and it was fabulous! He grilled outside: we had steak, sliced onions & yellow peppers, corn on the cob, sweet potato, and garlic toast with cheese (all yummy); and if that wasn't enough, he made apple pie for dessert. We then sat on the porch and chatted and listened to the birds chirp ~ it was so peaceful. One of the nicest days I have had in a long time!
Do I feel special or what? You bet!
I hope you other mother's had as fantastic a day as I did!
((Hugs))

Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah's Ark
One: Don't miss the boat.
Two: Remember that we are all in the same boat.
Three: Plan ahead; it wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
Four: Stay fit; when you're 600 years old someone may ask you to do something really big.
Five: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
Six: Build your future on high ground.
Seven: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
Eight: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
Nine: When you're stressed, float a while.
Ten: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
Eleven: No matter the storm, when you are with God there's always a rainbow waiting...
Have a good day!
