Snowball fights?
~ excuuuuse me! I heard there is a snowball fight around here. Well, I do not do fights ~ period!
Y'all continue with your game and have fun. As for me, I'll just bake my cookies. I did notice that I have an abundance of ripened bananas and will be baking some banana nut bread as well. I would be pleased to join you for a cup of coffee or tea after the games; I'll bring the cookies and banana nut bread.
Bye for now and will see you around tblog.

As the waves crashed onto the shore ...
I had a very interesting and enjoyable day today.
I had a pleasant surprise when a friend called and asked me to go to lunch. The weather was nice today so we decided to drive to the lake. Here there would be Lake Michigan.
We thought we should take advantage of the nice day as Monday night they are predicting snow. I know, SNOW! It will not be a lot and probably just a dusting, but the temps are turning that cold and windy so we decided to take advantage of the nice weather of today. Anyway, it takes about an hour to get to the spot I like by the water so we ventured ~ Westward!
The weather was beautiful. The sun was shining so bright, it was a bit breezy and that would just make for fantastic wave action along the shore. I love to walk along the beach and hear the waves splashing and the seagulls squawking, or whatever their noise is. They are probably saying, "Get out of here or I'm going to drop a surprise on your head." (Could happen!)
We did walk a bit along the boardwalk, as we couldn't get to the beach. And it was a bit too windy so we opted to get back in the car and go to a parking lot of a restaurant (closed for the season) but it is right on the water and so we could sit in the comfort of the car and watch the waves splash onto the shore. Splash loudly is what they did. There was so much wave action that I was mesmerized and could watch for a long time. We had gotten some coffee at a Starbucks so we had something nice to drink as we watched the wave action and chatted and got caught up on the goings on in each of our families. It was a very nice time.
Then as the sun was going down we decided to head back to my place and call it a day. But when we got here we decided to order pizza and play scrabble.
This was a grand day ~ and I didn't even turn on the computer until after 8 o'clock. A very nice day! Now I'll go see what you all were up to.
Being good boys and girls I trust ~ remember, only 50 days until Christmas.
