"AuntConi brought her Wii system over to my house this past weekend so she could kick my ass bowling."
Yes, I did ~ only I didn't say ‘kick his ass.'
If you need more lead in to this post, please check out Surrogate's blog!
Now, just for the record ~ I WON!!! ~ Big time!!!
And it was SO MUCH FUN!
In my weakened and aged condition ~ "I won big time!"
My 6 and 4 y/o grandkids would be SO PROUD OF GRAMMY!!! *giggles
All kidding aside, we had a ball ~ and I wish more people had been there to join in the fun. However, it would have been a bit more humiliating for some of the players. (cough, cough)
We played bowling ~ several games ~ and when we were exhausted we decided to take a break. And after a proclamation that I 'never' bring that game to his house again, EVER, he decided to go upstairs and get a cup of coffee.
In the meantime I decided to play bowling with the area where you can practice or fine tune a throw of the ball and improve your accuracy ... well as ‘someone' was returning to the scene of the crime I heard him say, "Hey, what is that? ~ oh cool ~ neat ~ oh, I want to try that next!"
And so, we were bowling up a storm again ~ only this time with much more enthusiasm and glee ~ and much laughter. He told me I laugh like Glenda the Good Witch" (only he said ‘cackle' ~ grrr)
Well we did that version for a considerable amount of time and then after another cup of coffee and a break, I asked him if he wanted to try golfing.
I don't golf, but he does. And that is a whole other story ~ remind me some time ~ and I may tell it, or not!
And that's MY story, and I'm sticking to it!
Enjoy life!
((hugs))
