Calmness in our lives...
I am sharing this with you as I hear it definitely works and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following some simple advice heard on the Dr Phil Show, and I don't watch that show, but this is from a trusted source ~ it was said, "You, too, could find inner peace." Dr Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and never finished."
So I looked around the house to see the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving this morning I finished off a bottle of Kahlua, a bottle of Irish Cream, a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Zinfandel, a package of Oreo cookies, the rest of my Prozac prescription, and a bottle of contrast medium as I am scheduled to have a CT scan this afternoon.
You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now!!!
If I remember I'll let you know the results of my test ~

Friend...while I have not been through your medical procedure Please know I am praying to God, the great physician, and asking Him to show your doctors what they need to see to restore your health. I will also be praying and asking Him to provide you and your family with peace in the heart, to know you can always come to Him with the worries you may have during this time. I also want you to know I truly believe God hears our prayers!

CT Scan? Hopefully you are doing this just for fun, out of boredom and because you have fabulously inclusive insurance. No? then I hope things go well and all results are encouraging. Please keep us posted.
