Happy 4th of July to all!
I have a busy day planned for the 4th ~ starting out with a local parade in the morning. I love a parade ~ I get goosebumps when the marching bands pass by.
Later on there will be a gathering at my son’s home in the afternoon with family members for a cookout. There will be about 20 people present and lots of laughter. Of the 20 there will be six youngsters ranging in age from six years down to four months ~ and I’m going to be the one sitting in a chair so I can watch all the frivolity. :) But I suspect I’ll be the one holding Arbor, the 4-month old, as the others will be running around cooking, arranging things and all that stuff. If my energy keeps up there will be card games to play afterwards and lots of good times.
After dark there will be fireworks put on the city ~ it is usually a grand show and is done down by the Grand River ~ they never have disappointed me yet!
