Merry Christmas my friends!
Time is slipping away and before we know it, Christmas will be here.
Oh what a glorious time it is, too. I hope everyone has a pleasant time planned with family and loved ones. I know that I do.
On Christmas Eve I will be going to my son’s home and we will be attending the Christmas Eve Service and then back to their home where my daughter-in-law’s family will all join us and there will be a house full of people for the buffet of special foods served on Christmas Eve. This is an Italian tradition and I have come to enjoy it a great deal. After everyone leaves it is time to put the grandkids to bed and place the cookies out for Santa.
Then the next morning we will see what Santa Claus left for the children. And we will enjoy a brunch of Christmas quiche and fresh fruit salad and specialty breads. This is surely not a low calorie holiday is it?
I hope you all have a special time with your loved ones!
I leave you with a little special greeting.
